AVX 2080 Cockpit Step Moisture

So I have recently traded into an AVX 2080 and have noticed some moisture collecting inside the center step when the lid is shut and I put the boat away. Lately, I have been leaving the top open once I put it into the storage shed, which helps. I have seen suggestions such as installing small vents, using desiccant, or using a fan. I haven't seen the moisture collect in any of the other compartments, but I have only had the boat a couple of weeks.

In addition to using "Damp Rid," I found some orange color desiccant in bulk that will turn a different color once the moisture absorption rate reaches a certain percentage. Any other folks out there seeing this, and if so, what is your suggestion/modification?

I have the same issue its not sealed at all so I just open it and leave it open when put in the shed along with the rod and center box to eliminate build up of any moisture
