    Insulated Lids

Looks like one of the other tin boat builders is insulating their lids.

Does Vexus have any plans of doing this?

Really looks like a great option that I am sure everyone would love to see.

With some engineering this could make a real difference. If the insulation could be vented so the heat doesn't get trapped in the compartment within the insulation it would work well. If the insulation had channels that were ported to the outside of the lid seal the heat could escape to atmosphere. The compartment would remain much cooler.

Lund insulates the pro-v lids. I never had any condensation in mine.

I picked up some neoprene foam sheets from Amazon. Was going to do mine but haven't yet.

Make sure it is "open cell" neoprene and not "closed cell". If it is closed cell it cannot breathe. When you get it in the heat the glue will gas and make big air bubbles from expansion.
    I learned the hard way.
