    New Fuel Filter Application??

    Serial #2B535153 200HP Optimax ProXS
    I purchased a new fuel filter Quicksilver P# 8M0122423 to install on my motor. It states it fits 3.0L DFI outboards. I checked the online Mercury parts diagram and it calls for a 8M0060041. I am a little confused on this and not 100% sure I have the correct fuel filter. Would anyone be willing to verify the correct filter for my outboard.

    Even Mercury's catalog doesn't show all of the superseded part numbers.

    If you were to look that up on our website, and add the filter to the cart, you would see it supersede to the latest part number (8M0122423).
