I've had zero luck using frog bodies on buzz baits and I love to buzz so I am interested in the responses you get. I see plenty of fish caught on TV but not from my boat.

I'm in the same boat as you, have tried many times and not sure if the size of the frog on the buzzer for Ohio fish or what but seem to better with a smaller skirt.

Horny Toad. Never throw a buzz bait without one.

The Zoom seem heavy, not really buoyant, and the legs don’t work real well for me. The Bruiser Baits frog in Baby Bass and Okeechobee are BY Far the best ones I’ve used. 4/0 Wide Gap Screwlock hook.

Zoom have worked very well for me, but they are a little thick. I sometimes slice some of the body thickness off with a razor blade.
I don't always post or reply but when I do, I...?

Kalins Sizmic Toad if I’m throwing a frog on, which is rare. Typically use a Zoom Z Craw Jr

The guy I fished tournaments with this year caught a whole bunch on a black buzz toad. I'd use a Senko while he was throwing the buzz bait and we did ok with the combo.

I've had better luck using the hollow bodied frogs and just burning them vs. an actual buzzing frog.

Horny Toad also. Black or White. I use several buzz toads on a screw lock hook, trixie shark may be my favorite although I throw others as well, watermelon red flake.
