94 charger 180vf info
Looking at my 1st charger. I had a older champ 176 super v that was a good boat except for the tippy roll side to side when it was at rest and waves would hit it.
will this charger be quite a bit more stable at rest than the champ. how is the ride dry or wet. i am about 5 hrs away so as much info as I can get will be much appreciated.
thanks chuck

The ride will be better than the champs.

I had a 93 180vf with 150 Mariner for 15 years, awesome boat. Very dry, easy to drive, by far the best riding 18 foot boat I've ever been in. It can be a little tippy when fishing but nothing I ever worried about. It also had an excellent C- channel trailer.

The 180/176 Charger is a splash of a 176 ChampioN and very close to performance and fishing.

If you want a better boat all around look for a 06 or later 186 these are the wide body 18 foot boats .The 170-180 were very nice and ride and are stable boats but the redesign are a little better. Also a 186 from Mid 90 s up to around 06 were bigger than the 170-180 models and wider boats that were also great. And yes all of these models are more stable than champs of the same size.

Never been in a 180! Had a 186 for years and it was very stable.
