    Thumbs Up I just saw the Lowrance Activetarget Videos

    I just came back home from my friends tackle store who has video clips of Activetarget teaser coming out Friday. I will say from what I've seen, it's quite impressive. They look very similar to Livescope, but the fish actually have defined tails and can actually see . I believe the videos I saw are the same that are being released to the public Friday. Im still skeptical at what the real world will produce as Im sure the conditions were ideal but at least comparable to Livescope and looks nothing like Livesight. You can add Activetarget to any existing HDS Live or Carbon unit or the Elite FS unit which has the same processor as the HDS Carbon, but only being released in 7'' and 9'' unfortunately.

    Overall, it's pretty impressive but time will be the real evaluator.

    What additional equipment will we need? I have a Live 16 so I'm out right now but expect down the road it will be available

    Don't think you interpreted that correctly. I believe the ti unit is only being produced in 7 and 9 inch models.

    If you have an HDS Live or HDS Carbon, you will need to purchase the Active target transducer to produce live images like Livescope

    Compatible with Lives, Carbon and The new Elite FS. Black box and transducer required with all units.
