    Is my 360 broke?

Is my 360 broke or do I have my settings wrong? I've had this for a couple of years and have never really been able to understand the images. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

That is cross-talk from another MEGA Imaging source. Eliminate that source.

This is a severe example with two 360's cross-talking:

Ok, my 360 is not MEGA, but I guess I'd still get the cross talk if I had my side imaging on 455?

Another question, if I put my unit at the helm on stand by, does that stop the sonar?

That screen shot is with a 360/455 kHz cross-talking with another 360/455 kHz. You can tell it is cross-talk by the blurred wide lines.

Standby turns sonar off, and backlighting off. GPS still functions (don't loose the tracking).

Where would the cross talk be coming from? DI on ultrex? Ducer on transom? How do you eliminate?

Wherever another 455 kHz frequency is generated.
SOLIX and Helix units have a setting to turn off DI and SI when a 360 view is selected so they don't cross-talk with the transducer on the trolling motor.

If it is from a transom transducer either turn the console unit off, set it to Standby or share sonar data from the bow unit to the console unit so it isn't pinging its transducer.
