    Fiberglass work to reinforce compartment lip?

    No it's not a typo...

    Has anyone here done any work to reinforce the backside of the compartment lip?
    I'm noticing a fair amount of flex on my rod box where the gas spring bracket bolts to it and my rear port compartment has a spot that's basically one layer thick...

    I've considered epoxying some 1/4" Aluminum stock to the backside, but since I have all winter I might as well try to do this right and glass it...
