    Cover

Looking for a cover for my 2006 294 pro xl. Need something that is waterproof won’t collapse when rained on but something that won’t completely drain my pockets? Any ideas? Even used will work if it’s top quality

I will be interested in what others have to say. In all my years of boat ownership I have never found one that I was willing to pay for (cheap sob) that worked to keep rain/snow out.
I use a $100 waterproff, trailerable cover from Amazon and a $25 12x20 heavy duty tarp pulled down nice and tight. I don't use bungees, i use baling twine from hay bales to tie down the tarp.

When my factory cover finally gave up I tried a couple from BPS. None of them fit my 195 ProXL. I contacted Aurora Canvas and had them make me a mooring cover. It is not trailerable but it fits my boat like a glove. It cost a little more than the ones you order on the net but the quality is top shelf.

Get yourself a shipping cover of a similar boat. Dealers throw them out. felt lined, water proof and they last for years...

I bought one off eBay I think it was $60. It’s as heavy as the ranger cover I had for my z520. It doesn’t fit correctly but I put the seats and poll in the middle and it definitely doesn’t leak. Only downside is it’s black and has faded a good bit in the 3 months.
