My kids and grandkids eat Mac and Cheese any chance they get. A must on our table when any of them are here. I can't stand the stuff so I fill in with something else like a loaded baked potato.

When my son was 4, he was a Starwars freak....and would NOT eat a strawberry, no how, no way. One night in a fit of brilliance, I told him that I thought he was misunderstanding the name of them...."STARberries". He ate them and still loves them. He's 44 now, and I don't know if he eats ASSparagus or not.

My 16 yr old son will eat mostly anything but he’s not too much on veggies. My 10 yr old eats only meat, tortilla chips, fries, and mashed potatoes. She will not touch bread, cake, pasta, or rice. She could eat hotdogs with no bun and chips for lunch and supper everyday. Every now and then she will eat pizza. Thankfully, she eats bananas, raisins, and vanilla yogurt with granola. Planning meals or going out to eat is usually a fiasco. I feel like a short-order cook when we are home.

My daughter (32 yrs old now) always ate good because we always made good home cookin’. Only on occasions did we eat out. Now if we (my wife and I) eat out, it’s Steak joints or Thai. BUT...the one thing she (my daughter) can eat daily is “chicken”. Now granted, I like chicken. Grilled, fried or rotisserie, I like chicken, but not every day of my life. If we decide to try a new restaurant and she can’t make up her mind, it’s chicken. She says it’s her “fallback food”. Says she can always depend on chicken.

Took Grand Kids to Papadeaux in Georgia. Ordered some gator tails and a Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux appetizer. 8 year old grand daughter tried a dip of the fondeaux with garlic bread, had to order another. Introduced her to biscuits and gravy, good to see the kids eat good.

10 year old... Spam Musubi, just plain spam, Hi-chew, anything "Mexican food"...when we moved to Texas it was something she really had never had much of..

    baby: pineapple...

Otherwise they eat what they are given.. the 10 year old isn't really that picky and my wife is a health nut.

Our son took PBand J sandwich everyday to school. It was what he wanted. He eats most anything but like me hates Peas. Now in college but home due to Covid he has to have a second dinner each evening. I realize we were getting a value with the campus meal plan the way he eats.
