2 stroke to 4 stroke pro xs mounting height

I am going from a Mercury 2008 pro xs 250 2 stroke to a pro xs 4 stroke. Do I mount the new motor bracket on my Bob's jackplate in the same hole as the old. It was mounted second hole from top. Boat is Ranger Z520.

Don, you are saying the 4s runs higher than the 2s. Right?

It will run higher than your Gen-1 TM gearcase model did. Applicable to your specific circumstances.
