    Breaker tripping

I have a Jacuzzi in the master bath that has worked fine for 30 years. It is on a dedicated circuit with a GFCI breaker in the panel. It has started to trip that breaker when the pump is turned off. It will run as long as you leave it on but trips the breaker as soon as it is turned off.

Is this likely to be a breaker that is worn out or a problem with the pump?

I say a worn breaker, weird that it only flips when the pump quits tho.

Probably the motor, but without being able to see & check. Replace the breaker 1st and try it. It cost less than anything else and easy to replace.
