    Thumbs Up Love river smallmouth!!

The rivers here in NH have cooled down into the low 40's, and the smallies are stacked up like cord wood. If you know where to find them, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Got out for a short-ish day with my friend Kristen and her son, and put the Magic Flick from Beast Coast Fishing to work on a drop shot. That bait is amazing when the water gets super cold, their plastic formula works wonders when the temps dip into the mid 40's and even colder.

Those 5's are hard to come by in the river! I mean I sure as heck wouldn't know, but that's what people tell me. Still haven't even busted the 4 lb mark yet on the river, but I know it's coming soon...

lol we tried to but he wasn't having it! Said he wanted to do it himself, and he did try!! Her son is great, kid is a trooper and is more than happy to hang out in the boat with us all day, whether he catches fish or not. But of course, he loves when we go fast. And thanks, definitely lost a lot of weight, down 40 lbs so far.

We tried! He wanted to do it himself, and he's still a liiiitle camera shy, so he doesn't want to be front and center when we're fishing, but he likes to be in the videos in some way.

Thanks! And that's awesome, I know two guys here in NH with jet boats specifically for running the few rivers that we have, and they put them to good use!

Thanks man, had fun making this one. I love catching fish in general, but the last couple of years, I've been really focused on catching smallmouth more than largemouth. It's just so much more fun, they're harder to figure out most of the year compared to largemouth, and I'll take a 4+ lb smallmouth over a 5+ lb largemouth any day of the week.
