Will the water pressure gauge line freeze?

I’m still doing a good bit of fishing and leaving the boat outside overnight in freezing temps which got me thinking about the rubber line that supplies water to the water pressure gauge. I used to pull the line off the motor and try to blow it out come winter. Since I’m still using the boat I haven’t done that this year. Is there a concern about something freezing and if so what does everyone do to eliminate the risk when still using the boat a lot in cold weather?

what year? Most dont have a water line to the gauge anymore. It goes to a pressure transducer.

I have heard of people putting In a T from a fish tank with a valve they can open under the console.

I have replaced two gauges, both froze. If water cant get out it will freeze. My speedometer froze too but I never fixed it. A T-valve sound great.

Has anyone pulled the line off at the motor and put a cap on it and just ran without the gauge for a while?

The water pressure gauge will let you know you've got a problem before a buzzer or overheating occurs. I personally would not plug it.
