yes, it does work. Shimano and Daiwa are always "excluded" but you are given the discount price after you checkout. It's been this way for years.
Seems like we need a sticky at the top with information about antitrust laws, the Sherman act, and horizontal/vertical price fixing.
A trick for those that “are not in the know”. After you fill out your info (shipping/billing), use the PayPal option, log into your PayPal account and it WILL show you all the discounts BEFORE you submit the order. Shimano is discounted, Garmin is discounted. Now you are in the know.
