wcs69rat,

Thanks for your input. I will go back to my service manual and start over. I will check every system/sensor on the motor until i find the problem. I got super frustrated and had to pull back and breathe. My way forward looks like this:

- Winky Blinky Light for trouble codes
- Complete check of ignition system again
- Complete check of fuel system (low and high side)
- Check fuel pressure regulator
- Check electric fuel pump resistor
- Check for leaking low pressure pumps
- Check valves for operation
- Replace Oxygen Sensor with Yamaha OEM
- Check CDI
- Check pulser coil
- Check knock sensor
- Check throttle position sensor
- Check crank position sensor
- Check atmospheric, intake air, sensors
- Check main fuel relay
- possibly replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump
- remove lower unit, disassemble and inspect

I have called all the marine repair shops in my area and most don't want to work on these motors. Of course they are helpful if you have a newer four stroke. I was told to sell my boat and buy a new one so i could have a four stroke motor. I will have to become my own expert. I love my boat and the motor and the best part is i own it without monthly payments. I will report back with findings on all the above. Thanks again to everyone who is helping me out!!
