    Ghost function question

    What is the difference between:

    "Course Lock" and "Heading Lock"

I believe heading lock keeps you going in a specific straight line direction and compensates for wind etc. What does Course Lock do? I am not talking about 'constant on' fwiw. I have not tried crating a Route yet. Just curious.

Course will not move the motor head, heading will be where u pointed at and will adjust to wind etc

^^ What he said.. Heading lock will compensate and keep the boat going in the compass direction you set it at.. Course lock just goes straight ahead and wind can push it off course.

Got it! So course is just the 'constant on' basically. Makes sense, appreciate the replies!
