    Question about dual transducers

I have an older 797si at the console. Currently the way the transducer is mounted I lose my sonar reading when on plane. Is it possible to add a thru hull transducer to my current setup and switch between the 2? If so, does anyone know which parts I would need to order?

It doesn't show the ts3 switch to be compatible with the 797 on the humminbird site?

It is a 5 circuit switch, the SI transducer has 5 circuits=it will work.

One last question. Do I need the y cable for 2 transducers also or does the switch replace that? I don't know if my unit came with one or not.

A transducer Y cable disconnects a piezo in a transducer and connects a transducer in its place. Impossible to switch between the two.
