    Bilge Pump

My bilge pump keeps blowing the circuit breaker after being on several seconds (10) then pops. All of the original wiring (bilge pump included) is factory on the boat and has not been changed. I ran a second wire separately to a Blue Seas fuse box for my Sonar, NEMA and GPS sensor. Any additional electronics or wiring that I did is connected to the fuse box via this second wire.
Any thoughts on why the bilge pump with the original factory wiring is blowing the breaker ?

Yes! It sounds like maybe the pump is overheating and that's why it runs for 10 seconds and pop's the breaker.

Bad bearing, bad motor or something caught in the impeller.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.

Is it actually running or just trying but has line wrapped in the impeller?

All previous answers seem to be spot on with what I would check.

The last item to check is the breaker. Get a volt\amp meter and hard wire it to see what exactly it draws.
