I currently have a 999c on the front with a 2d transducer on the trolling motor. I bought an Ultrex 112 with Mega. I would like to try and find a used Helix 10 Gen 3 to upgrade the front of the boat and utilize the Mega on the Ultrex. I know I can use the wires from the Ultrex to the Helix my question is , can I use the power cables from the 999c? or do I need to swap them out?
The power cord is the same. The fuse size and wire capacity that the power cord is connected to may be inadequate.
The Amp draw of the Helix 10 is 1.2A and the 999 is .78A
Which built-in transducer does the Ultrex have?

The G3N that would match is Helix 10 CHIRP MEGA DI+ GPS G3N.
You can use the Helix 10 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and downgrade it to a DI+ unit.
