    No, this was recommended for the Optimax motors. I don't think it is recommended for the 4 stroke.

    I use Shell Premium and then throw some Star Tron in with the Oil. After I get my powerhead back I'm going to switch to Stabil with the Shell premium fuel.

    This thread got me thinking about how much ethanol was in that Shell Premium I fill up with. So I did some reading about how to test for ethanol in gasoline and found out it’s very simple to test for. I bought the stuff and came up with 7% ethanol in 93 octane Shell Premium fuel. Granted this is a sample size of one so results may vary. I think I’ll keep testing around town and see what I find at other stations.

    Non E can be had here it is all I run plus ring free and seafoam In all the gas that goes in my tank. my 94 runs like new 120 in all 6

    no ethanol for me, with quickleen in each tank.
