For life to return to normal, to be able to go in to a place of business and not wear a mask. For hate and prejudice to go away, and for people to smile and laugh again.

I'll put that in the seat next to me when I'm fishing, that should at least guarantee me 55th place.

What I want for Christmas, I can never have. My wife of forty years was diagnosed with Alzheimers 5 years ago this March. I struggled to take care of her and still work for the first 4 years or so. This year she has declined drastically. She has lost the ability to speak, to feed herself, to walk, to do anything due to this terrible disease. She has been in 2 different care facilities since July. Our 40th anniversary was celebrated through her room window. I haven't sat with her, held her hand, or kissed her cheek since July 9th. I don't want to be a downer, but Christmas needs to be about family and people. Please tell your loved ones you love them, and cherish every day you have with them.

For the family to be healthy, and for my wife to start feeling better.

I’ll probably buy myself a knife or some fishing stuff I don’t need.

I understand completely. I lost my mother to dementia a few years ago and lost my wife of 43 years to cancer in January. They both loved Christmas so much. It will definitely be different this year. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

This will not happen any time soon. With so many people ignoring safety measures and there are lots of idiots who actually believe this disease doesn't exist.

Dear Santa,I want a brand new trac-hoe , a new Ford dually to pull it with, a new bulldozer and trailer, a new boat, and a couple million dollars put in my bank account. Santa will probably get me another project my wife wants me to do or a new pair of work boots with a note attached saying “ Get your azz to work “ .

To be home with my family.
For my family to all remain healthy.
For Covid to be nothing more then a memory.
Really, just wish I could be home with my wife and daughter.

My prayers go out to anyone with hardships in this once joyous season.
I lost my wife in Sept and it is a lonely time for sure.
