Glad someone caught them today.... Think I'm going to pack it up for the season. Been a good year overall, but it feels like the right time. Good luck to the rest of you who will continue to grind....

Went out Sunday and caught one bass and some crappie and perch. Going back out next weekend for another try. Got to find some fish before I put the boat away.

Jane and I hit a small pond for about 1 1/2 hrs. and could not get the skunk out of the boat, same pond we got skunked the time before
Our best fish for the year came out of this pond ? Jane caught it in May and it was 6:9..... I caught the same fish in Sep. and it was 6:13
The fish had a funny tail ?
On a side note, one of our pals ( we don't have many ?) caught a 9+ this weekend !!!

This guy is one of Jane's pals ( our pal) and he just told her about how he caught the fish ?We don't know the pond or lake and would not ask !!!
This guy is not like us, we like to get fish and don't care if they are small or big, they just add to our numbers , he will fish all day or all week just for one fish ...
Tim, it was not in Ma. or NH. but in New England .

Thanks Everett. I would never ask what lake.
I was just curious if it was in NH.

I would be happy with 1 fish if it weighed 9 lbs.

Paul, in 2007 we were in Mexico, I caught a 9-1 and we got back to Mexico in 2008 and I caught a 9-2 ..
One of our pals told me, that at that rate it would take me 14 more years to get a 10 lb bass ? Now in 2007 Jane caught a 10:11 on a little popper?
To this day I don't know why that fish didn't pull the hooks out of that bait ?
Paul, if you get out this weekend, play it safe ...and best of luck ..
It sucks to be me ???

Made it out to Robinson pond today.
Water temp was 41. No big bass but I had a great time.
Caught 9 large mouth all around 2 pounds or so.
Also caught a bunch of crappie and some huge yellow perch.
It was nice to get bit most of the day for a change, even if it was crappie or perch half the time.
Everything caught on a jerkbait or keitech.

Not bad.. considering I had to work, I'll actually classify that as a stellar day!

Was planning on spending the weekend working a blade bait a Clement... just had the crazy thought of doing the same at Winnisquam on Sat.
