Temp Sensor Leak? - 2000 225 Optimax
This boat is still pretty new to me and I put some pretty good running time on it this fall. I guess I never noticed these water spots when I looked at the boat to purchase but I'm guessing they were there then too. Boat had a new factory powerhead in 2006, Mercury confirmed and found the Quicksilver tag on the block to verify.
Anyway, this appears to be the port temp sensor that may be leaking under water pressure. Seems simple enough to change, but anything else I should look for?

Doubt that this is coming from that temp sensor.
Look for the HIGHEST point with white hard-water spotting (suspect it's coming from one of the water lines or fittings going to, or from the air compressor).

Found a small crack/pinhole in the water hose to the compressor and the hose was pretty loose on the compressor fitting. Appreciate pointing me in the right direction, still learning the Optimax.
