edit: I looked again, there is a Bob Laskey, beta tester for Garmin; but zero image pics on his page. If he has them there, they must be on a seen only by friends setting. Definitely not showing to me (public).

Ring, can you copy and paste the pics and I’ll see if it’ll let me view it though the link. Then I’ll send them to Donnie.

It would be nice if Garmin could post images of the 56UHD on the various compatible models so you could see if the upgrade would be worth it. There have been pictures posted using the 56UHD by some people on the board which is great. But if the setup is using the top end 8600 series, then that might not be representative on how the transducer may perform on say the ECHOMAP Ultra HD that costs about $1500 less.

Thanks for posting Mr. Grout-Scout. I’m hoping that something happened during the data transfer because those look a little underwhelming at least on my end?

I’ll try to make them a bit bigger, it’s challenging. I would imagine that they look better on the graph. A screenshot, then emailed, then copied and transfered through photobucket has to take a little of the detail out. Also, these are beta testers, the final software is probably improved. (I’m just guessing, I am not in the loop).
