I recently bought the Panoptix system and did the most recent update. I installed it on my system and have turned my transducer to perspective mode. The only mode I can get is forward mode. Am I missing something?

Did you check the settings to see if it was in Forward or Atuo mode? Did you try changing it to perspective mode ?
