    Recommendation for a push pole?

Anything able to push a 21' boat and telescope down to about 6' for under $100? Want something heavy enough to push the boat in Florida weeds.

I use a BassPro telescopic push pole with a duck foot. It goes from 6' to 11' when fully extended. Under $50.

Will this push pole hold up pushing a 21'boat ? I like the price. Thanks for the suggestion. The Superstick looks like the deal if I lived in Florida and would use it a lot.

I know. I stayed in Clewiston on Okeechobee for 5 Januarys then gave it up last year because of the weed kills. I go to other areas that still have weeds. I don't want to say where they are or FWC would be out there Monday spraying poison in the lakes.

Try a 1.5" Pine Handrail from Home Depot. It floats, its quiet, won't rust, won't scratch your boat, and under $20. You also don't need anything very long as you're pushing from the bow in 3' or less.

I like the pole collapsing to 6' so I can leave it in a side locker. That is where is will be most of the time but I will always have it if I need it.

It fits nicely with the clips that come with it in one of my 2 side rod lockers.

I made one out of i-1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe with a 5 way cross elbow joint for the foot. Put 4 pcs. 5" long on each side and capped the ends. I took a 2x2 Pine that I had and octagoned it on my table saw so it would slip down inside the 10' handle for additional strength and capped it off. I've used it for about 8 years now during the bedding season and it's finally starting to show some wear.
