Rough Idle for a Second on Throttle Down/Fuel Filter not Full

I have a 2019 Mercury 60 4S. When I run in neutral to 3,000 RPM then throttle down to idle abruptly I get a slight rough idle for a second or so then it smooths out. Also, the fuel filter at idle appears nearly empty. At RPMs the fuel filter fills up. Are these normal behaviors for this motor?

Basically, yes. You shouldn't be accelerating like that in NEUTRAL, however.

Fuel filter only fills (or drains) when the NEEDLE in the VST is in the OPEN position.
