Water in the floor area.

I store my boat in my barn, with a cover on it. Sometimes after towing it I find water has run across the floor of my boat (cockpit area) before it has even been in the water. I have had water come out of my cup holder while running across the lake. Has anyone else had this happen or know why it happens. it is like water is coming out from under the seat area.

It may be coming from the Trolling Motor and then going around in the channels making its way down to the floor if anything is stopped up. Mine has done this before.

If you leave the lake with any water in the bilge it will run to the front and come over the flooring. You may notice the floor of the front center hatch being wet as well.

That describes what I have experienced to the "T". As of January first Here in Arkansas it is now against the law to leave the ramp without draining your bilge and live wells at the ramp. I will observe this and see if it ends the issue I have been experiencing. Thanks for the insight.

Didn't know about that law, how would you keep fish if you were going to?

Better carry a cooler with ice in it. the new 2021 regulation book has it in there in 3 different places Bullet 250. It is now unlawful to leave the boat ramp without draining the bilge and livewells.

Sounds like Minnesota, went to Millie Lacs in June, went from one ramp to another on the other side of the lake because of wind, they were checking to make sure your drain plug was out, they told me it was for zebra mussels

Thats the same reason here, zebra, giant salvania, alligator grass and several other invasive aquatic species here in arkansas that they are trying to stop the spread of.
