Does any one know if this is the right plug to use when running a interface cable from my Yamaha to my Garmin’s utilizing the NMEA system? The plug ends themselves look like they will work.
I will be using the Lowrance cable in the picture.

That is the correct cable and the correct attach point.
If you want trim indication on your MFD then you will need to locate the two individual pink wires. Usually wrapped with yellow tape. Connect the two pink wires together. Disconnect whatever trim indicator that you are presently using.
