Owen has been asking good fishing questions here for a while now. He's kinda young and will probably be a great bass fisherman when he gets a little older and gets a boat.
Most young bass fisherman start with a smaller aluminum boat that they can afford, and work their way up to a fiberglass high performance boat when they get a career job.

Due to current garage space I would want a Phoenix 919 with a Yamaha 225 SHO sitting on an aluminum trailer. I am a river rat so I like my Lowrance electronics. Might go with a ghost TM but my minn kota is tough as nails.

If I were to pick out of all the boats and their sizes, sonars, trolling motors, and outboard engines, I would pick a 21 foot triton, the garmin trolling motor and having a Minn Kota fortrex as a spare, garmin sonars, and having a mercury pro xs (not the four stroke). What would you choose? I'm not judging, but curious

Ok now back to the real world; I actually hope some day to have a BCB P2 (it will fit in my garage with a 200SHO on it, ultrex, and HB Helix graphs.

The one I just bought with 1 exception, Xpress X 18 with Yamaha 150, Minn Kota Foretrex 80. Exception being Hummingbird electronics, I much prefer Garmin. This boat is a perfect match for the waters I fish 95% of the time.

Pretty much what I have. 21' Skeeter FXi (Skeeter doesn't make the i class anymore) with 250 SHO, Ghost trolling motor, Talons, Hydrowave, Lowrance units (though I will add a Garmin Livescope by next summer season unless Lowrance improves their Livesight).
