    Help with Falcon Rods

Help with Falcon rods. Which Falcon rod model is the most versatile. Looking for good all round rod when I'm not in my boat. Would be using it for small light 3.3 swimbaits, light jigs, flukes, senkos, and the occasional rattletrap. Looking at the finesse jig, swim jig or trap caster. Thanks for your help.

I have all 3 of those Falcons. For the baits you listed, I’d say the Finesse jig rod. Swim jig rod is a close second place.

The Finesse Jig rod is the most versatile rod they make if you ask me. It is a great fluke and senko rod for sure. I have 3 of them!

Cara 7'2" swim jig. I personally like the extra length over the 6'10" for most of the techniques you listed

6”10 length rod is Falcons strength and extremely versatile
The 6”10 Finesse Jig and the 6”10 Headturner are the 2 best rods in the entire lineup.
Close 3rd is the 7”3 Amistad

The 610 finesse is nice for lighter present and jig up to mayb 5/16. Swim jig, Amistad is definitely next step if throwing heavier baits

Thanks for all the help. I think I'm going to go with the finesse jig.

The 7’mh fast lowrider would be great for those. What model lineup are you looking at?

Jbrew good question on what lineup. I've had every variation Falcon besides newest expert and lowrider and feel like depending on what series the rods/powers slightly diff. for sure

I was looking at the lowrider or expert. I didn't know the actions would be different.

I have two of the Cara finesse jig rods and they are great but I picked up a Cara swim jig rod right before they cut the previous line and I am loving that rod.

I love my Swim Jig rods, too! I think I can throw anything in my boat
with it. Except tiny, light finesse baits, lol.

Just an FYI... As a owner of 3 finesse jig Cara T7, the new expert rod has a mod-fast action and it is s-l-o-w. I found I like it for jerkbaits but I do not like it for a jig or shakey head. It's a completely different action over the Cara t7 action.
