    Powertech br4

See what some suggestions are for a new prop I'm testing. It's a powertech brv4 27 pitch. It's about a pitch too stiff for my set up as I was only able to turn it 5450 ish @ 68mph good water pressure horrible hole shot as it wasn't venting enough even with all plugs out.

Question is do I send it back for a 26 or send it to be worked to a 26 and add a second set of pvs holes? I'm concerned it still won't have enough venting for the take off.

Manual jack plate or hydraulic ? If Hydraulic raise and then drop on break over, if manual you may need the extra holes and a lower pitch.

It has a hydraulic, I don't think I could have gotten it on plane if it didn't with the 27.

Lowering the pitch won’t help hole shot much at all. Venting plays 99% of your fix.

Yes I have wasn't enough prop for my setup. I have been running a 26 tempest plus but looking for some better mid range power and handling.

I got the prop back from Mark Tuesday with the added holes. We will see if I am able to test it this weekend without freezing my butt off lol
