i have a ranger z 185 with a 150 4 stroke mercury turning a 22 pitch tempest 3 blade 58 miles a hour, at 5880 rpm..
thinking about getting a 4 blade bravo 1 fs ,, 23 pitch, any one running this setup? have some numbers? thanks

You will loose 2-3 mph with a light load. Less with a heavy load. It will be a much better prop over all. You might even want less pitch than a 23.

Agree. Switching to a 4 blade prop of the same pitch generally drops rpm's by 200-300 and adding an inch of pitch will drop you another 200-300. You'll be well below recommended operating range. Plus, throw in different cupping, rake, and diameter, and who knows what'll result.
You might want to talk to a local prop shop. Or a prop expert like Ken at https://propgods.com/, or any of the other on line companies. Ken and many others also offer a try program for $30. He sends you the prop, you try it out(don't damage it) and if it isn't ok, you return prop for a different one.
