I've also seen an image showing left or right shaft mounting options so that may provide you the flexibility on the TM. I wasn't really sure why the options existed but it makes sense in the context of your question - thx.

I am not a professional angler but I am an angler and I haven't had 20 different units. The advancement in this technology for Lowrance is pretty neat. Black box, no worries there. I'm just happy it will work with my Carbons.
I love the hype and I'll see what it can do when it's available. I'm not going to lose any sleep as this weekend will be the last before the hard deck

Lots a problems with livescope. It wont take much as long as the get rid of the "ghost tree" and clutter.

That is true. It was better before the perspective view update. I have installed 4 livescope setups and one we had to send the black box back because it went south. At least it was under warranty.
