I dont like any city or town.. I avoid them whenever possible. Usually they are just in the way when I am trying to get from one rural area to another. Or a necessary evil when I need something I cant mail order or wait for.

Scruggs Bridge! Population maybe 100. As far as bigger towns or cities it sure ain’t Jackson! Maybe Tupelo
Fayetteville, GO HOGS!!!!
Louisville. It has my Cardinals, great restaurants & the Broadway Series at the KY Center for the Arts. If it had a big lake it would be perfect.
Minocqua, Wisconsin. A great area that is clean, has good people, good places to eat and too many lakes to mention. One is able to fish for largemouth, smallmouth, musky and walleye in literally hundreds of lakes. A bit touristy in the summer and winters are brutal, but a great place nonetheless.
Walton, NY
For Kansas, Mine is probably Kingman. Great little town with Great people.
Eufaula, but Chattanooga and the chick are only an hour for me
and i like Chattanooga, plenty to do, plus decent fishing, eating and music options are what i consider pretty good as well as attractions if you're into that kind of thing
Putting a clown in the castle doesn't make him a king, it turns the castle into a circus
I enjoy Mt Pleasant and Longview. Granted I grew up in Longview so I am biased but they are clean, good eats, nice people, and good fishing nearby.
Climax, PA for what should be obvious reasons
THE MORE YOU SAY THE MORE WE UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT YOU ANYWAYS
Not just a town. Shenandoah Valley.
"I'm just looking for a bite"
There is a little fishing town in Florida called Mexico Beach. By far my favorite spot on the globe.
