Lithium battery requirements for tin

Those who have made the change, what size did you go with and what have your results been?

Have a 24v trolling. So Only need 2. Are 60ah the way to go? Can you go smaller or is more required?

just going off several previous threads, basic seems to be if you are doing ok with group 27 lead acids the 50ah's will be ok for you. If you are using 31's or running 27's down on a typical day you need to go bigger.

I run two 50AH ionic with my ultrex on a rt198
lots of power most days I will have 55% at the end of the day
also lost about 80lb of weight at the back

My ionic 50s work great with my 24v Ulterra. I spent almost 7 hours in river current spot locked and batteries were at 77%. My tin is high sided so I spend at lot of time fighting the wind. Most tourneys I finish at 82-86%

I have 2 ionic 50 ah for my ultrex 80 lb and 100 ah for cranking on my 188 no issues with power

I went with three 100ah Ionics and I could have EASILY gone with two 50ah and a 100ah for the Merc115! I'm lucky if I need to recharge after three outings. I travel my State quite a bit and wanted to know I could camp somewhere for multiple days without needing to recharge. I would give up every gizmo on my boat but those dang batteries! Run 24v Ghost and 3 Carbon 12's every trip, every once in a while a Yolotek and the livewell.

I run 2 60ah on my Weld-Craft with a MK Maximum 24v 80# TM. So far I have pushed them 8 hours fighting current and didn't have any trouble. I have ran them many days 4-6 hours on speeds 60-100 with no trouble.

Can a person run a conventional lead/acid battery to start the motor, then add the 2 50ah Ionic batteries for the trolling motor. My big question is can I still use my new Dual Pro 3 bank 15amp Professional series charger? Will it charge both Lipo and Lead batteries? I run electric RC cars and the car batteries take a special charger that has both a charge port and a balancing port. I’m just starting to read up on this stuff so thanks for the help.

Ask Drew that question. When I went with the two Ionic 50s, he sold me a NOCO 3 bank that would also charge my blue top
