    Step Pads

When I repainted my Ranger last month I pulled all the grip tape off of the trailer and boat. I came across these rubber step pads at Harbor Freight and decided it was worth a try. They come in two sizes 12x12 and 4x12 (I think). They can easily be cut to shape with a razor blade. For $4 each it was worth it. The self adhesive on the back is iffy but if it lasts a couple of years I’ll be happy.

I bought some of those and cut them to fit the steps on my Lund trailer. I used 3M Weather Strip adhesive and they are still in place 5 years later.

They work GREAT (and are cheap) IF you remove the tape and glue em down. The backing tape that comes on them was garbage on the ones I bought.

I used those under my tool box mounted to my bed sides so it won't scratch them. Works pretty good.
