    Coating to harden paint job?

I really love a small painted blade bait but the paint comes off very easily especially when bouncing them on gravel and hard bottoms where they live. Is there some kind of epoxy or something I can coat the baits before I use them to help prevent this?

Couple coats if clear coat will help for a little while, it'll eventually wear off too though.
You could try some nail polish hardener to see if that would do the trick.
I am interested to see what other people say

Epoxy is too thick and robs the vibration from the lure... You might try some spray laquer or shellac from a can... A couple light coats. But it will only help. The paint could be effected as well. I use KBS diamond clear.
