Pro XS 175 4 Stroke on a Nitro

2021 Pro XS 175 prop set up

So now that the new 175 Pro XS v6 4 stroke has been out for a few years I’m curious to hear set ups regarding prop selection, Jackplate height, and top speed. In addition to your set up I’d like to know what kind of load and boat you’re toting around.
I figured this type of feedback will eliminate most of the costly “ trial and error” I’m about to endure.
I currently have 2019 Nitro Z18 for comparison purposes

    Looking forward to the input

    CHEERS!!

I have the same boat. Love my 175 Pro XS! I have a small tackle shop on my boat, about 20 rod/reel combos, close to 25 3700’s/ dual consoles, dual poles, livewell full with five bass, two anglers and I comfortably run 60-62 all day long. No jackplate, 23 Fury.

I have the Z18 with 175 ProXS. No Jackplate, Tempest 23 pitch prop. Was lucky to get it as the 175 seems to be in short supply. Top speed same 60-62, maybe a touch more but it will start to chine walk bad.

Think the 175 has some better bells and whistles vs the 150. I love just turning the key and she fires up.

So my set up is as follows: 6" Setback, 22p Tempest Plus turning 5900 RPM. 1/2 tank of fuel, one person aboard, livewells full, running 66.3 GPS- before full 10hr break in period. Totally exceeds my expectations going from a 150 to a 175 HP!

I have one with a 2 stroke 175 pro xs. What prop are you running. Fury will run deeper than a tempest. I run a razor 4xl that likes to run high on the plate. 62 top with the razor. My 24 fury will run 67 but the razor is better in every way execpt top end
