I has a 16 caracal pro xs 225. poles and 36 v fortrex. belly tank, I ran mine all pvs holes open. Mine topped around 71 @ 5975 that was with the 24/4 fury. It really is a great prop on that hull. Post back when you get some time with it and how you likes it/ speeds. I think a 25/4 would do well also on that rig.

Hope to get out next week to test. I will let you know.

Mostly wanted a little better hole shot during summer. Due to manufacturing delays just got it.

    Finally got to test.

needed all plugs in hole shot better. Real good when jackplate high.

Issue got to figure out. Only gettin 5100-5150 on top end. No matter where jack plate is or where trimmed.

gonna figure out how to check if wide open on throttle

Make sure the hot foot pedal returns all the way back to start before starting the motor. Make sure at wot the pedal doesn’t bottom out before reaching full throttle. The bottom out bolt mite need adjusted

The only way any 225 4 stroke will turn a 26” propeller with any suitable RPM is (1) the engine is too high. Or (2) the engine is not a 225 and even a 250 wouldn’t not turn a 26 Fury 4.

Thanks for the help ya’ll. Gonna keep plying and if I cannot get there I will look to trade for a 23 fury or get this one repitched maybe down to 22. I like the holeshot, or at least the winter hole shot of the fury 4.

My 2 cents,,, I ran a fury4/24 for a while, even tried a bravo a few times, but I settled with a a fury/23. Good hole shot even in summer, quick and solid up to 70mph(5850-5900). Probably more speed there if I played with JP. Or took all this unused tackle out of it.
