My 2010 250 SHO with a 2012 power head kaboomed with 384 hrs. on new powerhead. Thrust bearings gave out and a lot of metal in oil. What is the motor worth as is or part out.

Has anyone had luck getting Yamaha to help with one that is out of warranty?
Not to far out of warranty, yes. Way out of warranty, nope.
I already have a 2020 on my Skeeter and what the hell I'll give it a try. I just hope this one will last 10 yrs. because I'll be too damn old by then to fish.
