115 grain fmj. I like Winchester white box or Federal American Eagle. Might be tough finding any right now, at least at a reasonable price.

I agree with this statement. I work with a guy who bought an AR 15 last week. They let him purchase 2- 20 round boxes. I told him shoot it a couple times but better hang on to the ammo.

a mess is an understatement.
I bought a new sig p226 9mm yesterday, luckily I already have 1 9mm and have plenty of plinking ammo. They had no 9mm or .40 ammo in stock, even went to academy afterwards and they were out of everything too. I did find some Speer Gold Dot 124 gr JHP online this morning 50 rnd box for $59 so I picked up a couple of those.
Found some around here for $26 for a 50 round box. Hopefully get out this weekend and see if the Springfield likes the 115 or 124 grain better
