    Fluorocarbon Line Trustworthiness?

Looking for some reviews on Fluorocarbon Line. Primarily would be using on baitcast reels also partially using on a spinning reel. I'd been using the brand K-9 Fluoro with no problems at all. I've heard a little about the Berkley Trilene XL Pro Grade 100% Fluorocarbon. Any and all reviews would be helpful, Thanks!

I use Trilene 100 percent Fluorocarbon and have not had any issues. If the K-9 is working for you with no problems then stick with that.

its really all pretty good anymore, i think they all had issues a few years back as they ramped up production, but i think for the most part they are all mostly good..

Been using seagar abrazx the last few years. Has seem to done well for me. Only complaint is after cutting off enough (either breaking off or retying) to get towards the end usefulness of a spool it gets kinda rough feeling

I've been using P-line for a while now. Had some issues at first breaking on the hook set. Changed up my knot and got a lot better. I'm starting to use line conditioner quite a bit more just for line twist and piece of mind.

I have been using Seagar Invizx for about 5-7 years. I use 8-10 lb on spinning tackle. 12-20 on casting with 25 in some Flipping or Florida non braid applications. I'm very particular on line and read a lot of reviews. Reviews are good but it has proven itself to me. Seagar Tatsu is twice as expensive and does not work as well for me.

I've been using Sunline Sniper on casing reels for years with no issues. For spinning reels, I like Seagar Tatsu. It is limper and easier to handle on spinning reels.

Sunline Sniper is the only fluorocarbon that I haven't broke consistently on the hookset.

I switched to Hi-Seas years ago after the first time using it. Just awesome all around. I use mostly 12, 15, 20 on baitcasters. Spinning is mainly braid to 6-10lb long leader’s of Hi -Seas fluoro these days.

Have also found a more inexpensive brand of Fluoro Vicious Brand. Out of necessity I found Vicious Fluoro @ 10.99 /200yd spool. At half that of K-9 fluoro not had a concern of poor performance since first use in over 3 months.

I have tried every floro on the market. The best by far is Trik Fish! Not to mention, it is reasonably priced. They also have a great Poly line for hardbaits, spinner baits etc

I ditched flo...use only top Berkley mono, the Spectra 16# 4,050 yard spool and glue my knots...
less time wasted, less tangles...much better flipping and also making longer topwater casts...
only other line is 40# Yo-Zuri braid in vegetation and #50 Yo-Zuri braid for punching.
