    Trim motor

Mine seems to have bit the dust. It is on a 2014 250 SHO. Are they really $800 for a replacement.

What's it doing? I believe it's pretty rare they go bad.

Nothing. There is power going through the relay. I took the motor wires loose and hooked them directly to a battery and it still does nothing. Leave it up to me to have the rare happen. Two months ago the jackplate motor went out.

I looked at theirs, but was not sure of the part number.

I have a 2013 SHO and my trim motor went out in August. Bought the DB Electrical motor and replaced it.

My 2012 sho trim motor went out 2 years ago. Had it rebuilt at a local starter/alternator shop for $45. Been working good since then

Either DB electric or let the local shop rebuild it. I bought mine from DB electric almost 2 years ago and have had no issues since. Don't pay 800 bucks for that little motor
