    11/1/20 Anita report

So after a busy day Saturday I was able to get out Sunday morning. I’ve been feeling a head cold and have a sore throat last few days, just part of the season I guess Lol. I got on the water about 7:30. Wt 45* man the wind was a pain in the rear. I started in front of the camp ground rocky area. Got a 2 1/2lb with a jig. Also tried crank bait, jerkbait and a A-rig just for fun. Only bite was with the jig. Then move to a few other areas with no luck. About 11 and I started to head back to ramp. Desided to hit one last rocky spot closer to the ramp and got 2 more nice 2lb. I got boat out and back home by 12:30. Wife had dinner ready:-). I would have liked to hit more rocky spots later in the day. I think the bite was just staring to pick up a bit.... I think for the rest of the year I will try fishing later in the day I don’t think there’s much of a morning bite with the water so cool. I’m excited to get out next weekend with some of the highs in the 70* this week. I also think I’m going to unload a few rods out of the boat I don’t think I need all my heavy rods anymore. Keep the medium/medium heavy rods in.
