A few weeks ago I won a Cimarron Arms Doc Holiday Thunderer revolver in 45 Colt. It was just the gun and not the combo so it did not come with a holster. I'm trying to get some ideas on what would be a good range holster for it. This will not be a carry gun at all, unless all of my other ones are gone. Any recommendations? I'm kind of leaning towards either a shoulder/cross draw style or standard holster on my primary side (right). TIA!

Just remember to do the cross draw 2 step at the range so you dont sweep everyone.
I like simply rugged brand sourdough holsters for revolvers. These are not a traditional single action holster but they are comfortable and can be used for carry,
any Amish near? The local Amish leather shop made me a nice custom stong side or cross draw holster for $30.
Pretty standard holster but belt loop sewn so it can Be traditional or canted crossdraw.
There isn't a gun range in this area that will let anyone use a crossdraw holster.
