    Service Manual

I’m not a newbie to owning a boat but I want to learn how to do more maintenance on my engine. Seems as if there’s a few different options for my engine first being the oem evinrude manual. Then a Seloc manual also a Clymer. Is factory manual the best? Or is the Seloc or aftermarket manual written easier to understand for a novice mechanic? Thanks for any info

If you ask this question down in the Evinrude, Johnson forum the motor gurus in there will tell you not to spend your money on anything but the OEM manual. And those guys have wrenched on more motors than you could count, and if you have any questions they can and will get you straight on it. Here's the link to it. http://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=4

I started watching YouTube videos and have taken far more from them than a manual, and I’m no spring chicken
