Moving Waypoints from Lowrance to Garmin Echomap 93v

I have watched numerous videos on how to do this but none seem to work. Is there a certain we card to use? Also do have to put we card in a computer and format it to fat32 before u start or by putting it in the Garmin does automatically format it for you. And when u put we card in the Garmin to begin with are there any certain buttons to push to get it formatted? See if Im right format it in Garmin then upload waypoints from lowrance then download to Garmin. This has not worked so far. Just saying.

    Just saying what??

You need to save the Lowrance file to GPX format. Upload that file to the Garmin unit........just know that not all symbols/colors will be the same.....as for card, nothing bigger than 32GB, put card with GPX file into Garmin unit, go into the menu and upload to unit....it does not hurt to format the card.........Just saying......that easy.....

I followed that video but it’s not working. I’ve tried this 3 times. Even bought a new sad card and set the fox format but still hasn’t worked. Not sure what to do next.

It worked for me when I did it. I had a gen 2 hds 7 to a 106sv ultra. It worked like a charm.

The waypoints don’t transfer to the Garmin.

You're going to have to break it down into steps and do a step by step verification before anyone on here can help you.
Step 1 is to get your Lowrance waypoints onto the SD card in the GPX format.
Use your PC to look on the card and see if there is a GPX file on it. If not, then you are doing something wrong on the Lowrance. If yes, then you are doing something wrong on the Garmin.

Few things to check. Make sure that both units are on the same way point format. Also have you check to see if the Garmin show any way points?

When you look at the card on the PC, what is the exact full name of the file?
