    New Ultrex to Network?

I purchased a used Ranger 2 weeks ago and it has 2 Helixs G2N a 10 and 12 Networked. I am having a Ultrex MDI with i-Pilot LinkI installed today and adding it to the Network. Is there anything special or settings I need to do get up and running?

    Thanks

If you want to use the iPilot GPS and Heading Sensor for the bow unit, you have to select it in the bow unit's Network menu.

Also if you connect the Minnkota MDI transducer, you need to change the Connected Transducer setting to Built-in HW+MDI

Verify setup on the TM (Remote & Heading Sensor pairing, Heading Sensor Cal, Boat Scale, etc.).

So when I go to I think the Network Setup Page if I got everything connected correctly it will show the Ultrex as an option.

    Thanks

No, it shows iPilot Link as one of the choices:

Thanks for the Picture. So when I go to DI Tab in the Network it will list the Mega DI Built in Transducer as an option to use?

The standard transducer is shown in the Network menu, but you cannot select a transducer, just the UNIT that is processing the data.

The transducer that is used has to be selected in the Sonar/Connected Transducer menu.

You said you had two head unit's in the boat, with the addition of the Ultrex Link, you'll need a 5 port ethernet box if not already installed previously.

If you don't already have a AS GPS HS receiver at bow, the Ipilot-Link is a good GPS source for your bow unit as Wayne indicated. Hopefully, you have another GPS receiver at transom for your console unit. Enjoy that Ultrex.
